Originally released in 1995 as Mailorder Only CD on Glitterhouse Records, "And Other
Crimes"is a fan favorite. Recorded in two days live at Coyote Records and produced
by Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, the Philly 4-piece Go To Blazes played a few of their own
songs as well as tunes by Gordon Lightfoot, Kinky Friedman, Lou Reed, Lee Hazlewood,
Gene Clark, Cary Hudson, Hank Williams and others. All in a semi-acoustic mode.
"After years of hard rocking, the band finally unplugged in 1995 with .And Other
Crimes, for the German Glitterhouse label. This live-in-thestudio date is filled
with smarter-than-bar-band covers, each one given a half-reverent, halfsneering spin.
And if rollicking, slide-guitar-tinged treatments of Gene Clarks Out on the Side or
Kinky Friedmans Sold American arent twisted enough, check the downwardly mobile
originals Got It Made and Waste of Time to hear just how closely the bands sense of
rebellion mirrors that of anti-heroes Hank Williams Jr. and Lee Hazlewood."
(Tom Moon - Rolling Stone/NYTimes).

Subtitled "Southern Rock that time forgot!" If you are a die-hard Southern Rock fan
you might remember the Peaches albums which Warner Brothers released in the first
half of 1970 in their dirt cheap Loss Leaders series (double albums usually did
cost 2$, yes two Dollars) which showcased the current releases from Southern Rock's
best label Capricorn Records. Here we have ten US bands and artists that mostly self
released their music on CD only, gaining some level of local or regional recognition
at the time.

Alligator Jackson was an ensemble rock project that never materialized into a "true
band." The sessions released on this album were drenched in southern fried rock.
For these recordings made between 2005 and 2009. Sit back and discover the southern
rock band that never really was and enjoy the southern bite of Alligator Jackson.
If Lynyrd Skynyrd would have released this album between Nuthin Fancy and Gimme Back
My Bullets people would have hailed this as the fourth great album in the Skynyrd
discography. Yes, its that good. First time on vinyl.

Tennessee Champagne is a band from Elizabethon, TN, in the heart of the Appalachian
Mountains. Their musical vocabulary is extensive and diverse, borrowing from the deep
tradition of great American music. The groups music bridges the subtle gap between
the energy of rock and the appeal of a good hook, tipping the hat off to iconic acts
such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, The Black Crowes, and The Allman Brothers,
among others.
